Roger, Dr. Vaghasia's NP at 8333 Brimhall Rd., Bakersfield is FABULOUS! Not only is his bedside manner impressive, but he is THOROUGH. He listened to my concerns, new findings from my oncologist/hematologist and treated me accordingly. Dr. Vaghasia, on the other hand, thinks he is God. He came in, no apology for not informing of the positive Valley Fever test he sat on for 3 months. AND I called the office multiple times to find out if it was positive but all the office would tell was, "The doctor will call you directly if your Valley Fever test came back positive." Then Dr. Vaghasia tried to pull a fast one on me and rather than put in an order for a PET scan, as Roger had told me he would do, Dr. Vaghasia said, "When you check out the staff at the front will order the CT scan for you." When I confronted him he said, "Oh, if we do a PET scan then we have to biopsy the mass in your lung, possibly remove it..." I cut him off. "Yes, doc. It will be more work on your end. But this is my health we are talking about. It's all I have." And he DID order a PET scan of my chest. What kind of doctor is this?! Do request to meet with Roger before you meet with Dr. Vaghasia, then be oh, so careful Dr. Vaghasia doesn't try to pull any slick moves on you when he meets with you for 90 seconds. While satisfied that I am getting the imaging of my chest that I need, I do not trust this man to biopsy nor do any other form of invasive procedures on me. He doesn't listen to his patients. He doesn't seem to truly care about their health. He just wants to do the bare minimum, like a lazy worker. And I have learned from experience that when he has a positive test results in his possession and is supposed to take action to inform his patient, he doesn't do so. Now it looks like the Valley Fever has developed into meningitis. Horrible medical practitioner.

Overall Good but too long in room waiting for dr. Had to step out and ask if he was coming soon. Only then did a np finally show up then waited a bit more for dr.
